I first heard the Dawn Patrol album in my 9th grade social studies class.
We had a really cool teacher who bought a "stereo" with the 25 cents
all of her students pitched in. When we worked on our study guides we
could listen to the radio, or we could bring in tapes to listen to. One guy
brought in this unknown tape "Dawn Patrol" from this unknown group
"Night Ranger." I wish that teacher was still around now to tell her what
I REALLY learned in her class!! She would go to all the rock concerts in
Mpls. (which was 2+ hours away) and would fill up her car with students
and bring them with her. Nowdays, there would be lawsuits for stuff like
that!! Ahh, the good old days!!
