Finally, after all these years I got to see Night Ranger in concert at Midnight Rodeo here in Albuquerque. Over the years I have missed every opportunity I had to see them. I was not disappointed! Midnight Rodeo is an old grocery warehouse, so I don't think the facility lent much to the sound quality. The guy on the board had Jack Blades' bass and Kelly Keagy's drums pumped up way too loud, but I'm probably too picky! They played a lot of the staples, plus a neat acoustical rendition of "High Enough" from Damn Yankees with Blades and Keagy on vocals. The band put on a great show. They played about an hour and 45 minutes. They looked like they were having a really good time on stage. See them if you get the chance! - Rick |
